Year 6 Writing Competition

All of our Upper Key Stage 2 children took part in an essay writing competition with our Year 5 pupils writing an essay about someone who inspires them and our Year 6s taking part in an annual one, led by The Hoddesdon Rotary. Huge congratulations goes to our year 5 winners: Erika and Eddy. And of course not forgetting our incredible Year 6 writers, Aiyla, Dan, and Leo, for being selected as our school’s Year 6 finalists. Tasked with the inspiring topic of what they want to be when they grow up, these three talented pupils represented Roselands with pride during the presentation at Hoddesdon Library with the mayor. Special congratulations goes to Aiyla, who was selected as the overall Roselands winner and awarded a £25 book voucher.
