Athlete Visit Alice Sharpe

The visit from Alice Sharpe, Olympic cyclist was a huge success. She was incredibly inspirational and the children loved completing their circuits together. The assemblies afterwards were an opportunity to hear about how she still strives to be the best and the journey she went on. The children then had the opportunity to ask her questions and she told us about an occasion when she fell off her bike and broke her nose but still got back up and continued; her team then went on to secure a medal in the race.

The children  were sponsored for the fitness circuits completed with her and have raised £3011.41 which will be used to purchase PE and play equipment.
