Soft Closure Activities for LKS2 Children
As part of the school's response to the current heatwave, we will be operating a soft closure today (Friday 26th June).
For those children who are being collected at 1:15pm, a hard copy of activities will be provided to complete at home. Please complete the activities and return them to school on Monday.
Children who are remaining in school will complete the same activities as their peers who have gone home, ensuring continuity of learning for all pupils. The activities have been chosen carefully to support the learning the children have been engaging with the past few weeks.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
Kind regards,
LKS2 Team

- Timestables workbook - Summer Term Workout 10
- SpAG workbook - pages 48-49
Year 4:
- Timestables workbook - Summer Term Workout 10

To help us provide even more targeted support for your child, we are asking children to check their work with their adults, if possible, at home using the answer key found at the back of the book.
By handling the initial marking at home, you’ll get a great 'real-time' look at your child's progress. More importantly, this change allows us to reclaim valuable class time to add an extra teaching session, specifically focusing on the areas where the children need the most support. Rest assured, we will continue to check all work to monitor completion and will still be recapping any tricky topics in class.
